DONATIONS. Giving For Living accepts two forms of donations – (1) money in the form of cash and, (2) item donations. Volunteers conduct bi-monthly drives to collect all donated items, raising awareness for the drives by distributing flyers in advance. The various new or gently used items are then brought to the warehouse for packaging and shipping to overseas distribution centers. Giving For Living follows a nondiscriminatory policy when it comes to selecting regions and distribution centers within those countries.

As a volunteer we ask that you distribute flyers throughout your neighborhood, collect donated items from donors, and coordinate shipping to Giving For Living’s warehouse in Brooklyn, NY. Giving For Living covers all expenses associated with your volunteer work, from the supply of flyers to shipping fees. All you have to do is donate your time.
